Locally Rooted, Resilient Futures

Sharing Best Practices in Community Engagement for Sustainable Development and Climate Resilience. Mahidol University organized a major seminar as a platform for universities, social enterprises, NGOs, and government agencies to come together, exchange lessons, and share approaches to community collaboration in driving sustainable development.

Juthathip Jainuan, Founder of The Next Forest, shared our experiences as a new-generation social entrepreneur. She emphasized the power of innovation and community collaboration as drivers of social transformation. The full-day program was filled with the exchange of case studies and practical approaches that link local-level practices to policymaking, demonstrating that building a sustainable future must start with taking action together with communities. Through this engagement, the Association reaffirmed its mission, #SEConnect, to link networks across all sectors government, academia, development organizations, and social enterprises in building an enabling ecosystem that strengthens communities, supports their self-reliance, and prepares them to face climate change challenges in the future.

Exciting memories from “The Regenerative Future Camp 2025” organized for the second consecutive year, proudly supported by Juang Pattana Holding and in collaboration with FabCafe Bangkok, ChangeFusion and Forru Cmu

Check out these moments from an amazing experience duration of two weeks from March 17 to 27, where our students immersed themselves in the world of forest conservation and restoration. They gained valuable insights about the importances of forests and forestry management from local communities, researchers, NGOs, and government units in preservation efforts.

From engaging lectures to hands-on laboratory sessions and thrilling field trips, we explored cutting-edge technologies like 3D drone and IoT that are pivotal in monitoring and protecting our forests.

Thank You TIJ RolD for the Opportunity to Share Our Experience at “Thailand Rule of Law Fair 2025: A Fair for Fairness”

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to TIJ RolD for giving The Next Forest the opportunity to share our experience at the “Thailand Rule of Law Fair 2025: A Fair for Fairness.” We presented our perspective as a social enterprise working on forest restoration in partnership with local communities, with a focus on the PES (Payment for Ecosystem Services) mechanism — an initiative that promotes sustainable coexistence between people and forests through inclusive participation from upstream to downstream stakeholders.

🌱 During the event, we proudly launched our new project: “Forest Guardians: Community Forest Protectors.” This initiative is now open for crowdfunding on the Taejai platform, allowing everyone to take part in preserving and restoring Thailand’s forest resources.
